 Why is team building so important? Without team member trust, team member communication and team member engagement, your company doesn't have a strong core. Without a strong core, your values and beliefs are null and void. How can you allow your team to accomplish team building?  🌳Icebreakers are probably the easiest way to do it right on location. They help to break down barriers, by fostering camaraderie among team members.  🌳Leverage your team's individual talents. This helps to achieve collective goals and root for each other.  🌳Friendly competition.  Communication is one my strengths. Don't get me wrong, strengths can also be weaknesses. However, for any position, you need to have communication. Clear communication is the backbone of a strong team. Active listening, concise messages and regular check-ins are just the beginning. How do you encourage open communication within your team?        After our other safety posts, we felt it necessary to discuss one more area of safety. It may seem like common sense; however, people were eating Tide™ pods. So, here we are, talking about how fireworks of all things are actually poisonous.      You might be thinking to yourself, are they for real? 100% we are! The chemicals that are used to make fireworks are what make them poisonous. Some of the elements used are Barium, Copper, Aluminum, Calcium Phosphide, Antimony and many more.       Let's talk about these for a moment. Barium is a metal powder that is used to stabilize volatile elements and create a green hue. Copper, which is actually Cupric Chlorate, is a powder used as an oxidizer, that makes blue hues. Aluminum as a fine powder, can explode if too much is in the air, Aluminum creates white and silver hues.
